Have you ever wondered, what our life would be without movies? How could a person kill time? How would we know what happened before we were born?  or even around us?  Watching a movie may relieve stress. This really was one of the main reasons that kept me breathing during the pandemic. With no need to step outside the house, you may now enjoy a lovely movie while you are relaxing at home, isn't that cool? 

When you watch a movie, which has some deception of society politics, economics, psychology, racism, or ethnicity, you can learn so many different things and of many different perspectives. This may help you experience awareness that perhaps never thought about!

Why Inquiry Instructional Strategy?

 We are moving toward new strategies, that must be adopted in every classroom. Traditional strategies are no more effective in classrooms! The old ways where students' role is restricted to just responding and the teacher's role is limited to evaluate only won't work anymore. inquiry strategy leads to discovery and invention. They will able to share their own ideas, thoughts, and speak up their minds without the fear of being bullied. They may share their experiences freely without the anxiety that each response will meet with evaluation. This will keep students engaged in any learning activity and willing to be on-task always.

Please stop traditional boring strategies in classrooms!

My Trip To Bali

 It was my first, but definitely not my last. I would travel there every time I am able to. I fell in love with this city. Its citizens were friendly and helpful. They were always smiling and welcoming. They really love tourists. I wandered throughout the city from the mountains to the ocean. It was amazing and beautiful. I met different kinds of animals such as elephants, monkeys, and deers. it was lovely encountering animals. People there, live with animals and treat them like family members. I've learned how to make coffee and how they plant rice and cultivate rice. I tried all kinds of food found there, they have many cuisines. No worries you'll always find something to eat! I saw the volcano and sat facing it. Yes. A real volcano could you imagine this? I experienced the huge swing and below you may witness all the rice fields. cool no? It rained a lot though it was summer. I've visited the temples. you cant be in Bali without visiting the temples. They have some traditions that are still alive till now. Seriously, you'll not believe that we are living on the same planet! It's all greeny around you and fresh air fills your lungs and soul. It was an outstanding experience!

                                     

Food Addict

It sounds crazy to have a hobby related to food. As for me, I'm a food addict and I may call it my hobby. Eating and enjoying what I eat is a blessing for me. Looks funny. I know. I like all types/kinds of food no matter what cuisine is. I'm wishing to be able to visit all restaurants in Lebanon, try their food and enjoy the deliciousness of taste. I've tried Lebanese, Turkish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Arminian, Balian, Mexican, and American cuisines.  don't forget the yummiest desserts ever!!

During the pandemic, I've searched a lot for free educational webinars to attend. you have one thing left to say either you kill time or time kills you no in between. some of these webinars that  I've attended :

They enable me to grow my knowledge, know more about teaching pedagogies, and how to manage a virtual classroom.

First Teaching Year

 From university again to class! First-year of hell, I could say so no?! Well, things are totally different in reality. The real-life class differs a lot from studying at university. You have to deal with 30+ moody little creatures, take care of them, be their supporter, mom in some cases, and the most important one their super caring calm fabulous teacher. After all the ups and downs I really gained a great experience during my 1st year of teaching and looking back to those years makes me really proud of myself. I've accomplished so many back then. For all the new teachers out there, you are not alone, we all in this together.

Love In The Time Of Cholera

Will always be my favorite. No matter what I read! today, tomorrow forever. A glimpse of it. A  couple keeps on loving each other for so long even though, each of them has his/her own life far away from one another. You can't read this book without falling in love with every and every word. As the novel progresses, you'll witness what true love is. Time passes and at last and after 53 years,7 months, and 11 days and nights the love birds finally have a chance to be together forever and sail on their own in the blue ocean.

Educational Media

 Who could believe that a course at university changes your ways of online teaching and learning? I think you should take a look at the educational media course. You'll learn a lot about how may you use different applications in your virtual class. I think after this course, you'll never feel bored in an online class anymore. You'll learn how to use: padlet, google forms, word-wall, word cloud, google sheets, jam board, menti-meter, poll, and much more. Believe it or not, your classes will be more interesting when you use one or more of them during synchronous classes. Give it a click and enjoy!

A Nightmare During the Day?

 Sounds crazy right? Well, for me it wasn't at all. It was a hellish day in all its ways and directions. I woke up late and dressed like a witch to reach my school before 8. I felt  I couldn't make it at first! Everything was tumbling against my head just thinking of it. It was raining cats and dogs. To be honest, I'm not a winter person at all. So here a sum up: woke up late, rain, school,  kids omg! At last, I made it. I was able to be on time and still can't believe it till now! Lol, You think my day was over? no, not yet. Wait. 

My New Experience

 

It has been a tough year for all. Especially in the teaching/learning domain.  The pandemic is like a horrible nightmare for all people around the world. Thus, being able to be a productive person, and being able to prosper in such hard times was a challenge for me. Moreover, my learning experience differs from others as I see that learning online, while you are just sitting at your comfy place gives me the opportunity to pursue studying with passion.  I’m actually continuing my high studies as a TD student at LIU. Learning online experience for me is great. It really saves my time being on the streets for so long to reach my destination. Therefore, it is great to know more people from all over Lebanon, and have friends from outside your box is such a blessing. Moreover, I get introduced to many doctors who are far away from my home town and are willing to help me in every single detail is an honor for me. Finally, as you know that the online environment is changing continuously and it represents a great opportunity for learning. I wish learning online will continue in the future.
